Shipping Method

We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 to deliver all orders within the United Kingdom. This service provides a reliable and secure method to ensure that your baked goods arrive quickly and in excellent condition.

Processing Time & Shipping Time

  • Order Processing: Orders will typically be shipped the working day after the order is placed.
  • Shipping Time: Once dispatched, your order should arrive within 1-2 working days. While this service is reliable, delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or postal delays.
  • Desired Delivery Date: In your basket you can select a desired delivery date if you do not want the item to be shipped immediately. We will aim to deliver on this day but we cannot guarantee it.

Delivery Address

Please ensure that you provide an accurate and complete delivery address. Bakes by Bear is not responsible for delays or lost shipments due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.

Shipping Rates

  • Local Free Shipping: All orders shipped free within 5 miles of our Locks Heath, Southampton base
  • UK Flat Rate: We offer a flat shipping rate of £3.99 for all orders below £25
  • UK Free Shipping: Enjoy free shipping on orders over £25!

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your Royal Mail tracking number. You can use this number to monitor your delivery status on the Royal Mail website. If you are sending as a gift you should share the tracking details with the recipient to minimise the risk of a missed delivery.

Delivery Issues

  • Missed Deliveries: If you or your gift recipient are not available to receive your order, Royal Mail may leave your package in a safe place or with a neighbour. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a card will be left with instructions on how to collect your parcel or arrange re-delivery.
  • Damaged Goods: While we take great care in packaging your baked goods, please understand that they are coming in the post and so you may see a broken edge or two! If your order does not arrive within 5 working days of dispatch, please contact us immediately at info@bakesbybear.co.uk with your order details, and we will assist you.

International Shipping

At this time, Bakes by Bear only ships within the United Kingdom. We do not offer international shipping.
